The arrest of Telangana BJP’s state unit president and MP, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, has not dampened the morale of the party, according to Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy. He stated that the BJP would continue to fight against the alleged misrule of the ruling party, BRS, and work towards ending what they perceive as a dictatorial and corrupt regime.

Minister Reddy emphasized that the arrest of Bandi Sanjay Kumar would not halt their efforts, as there are thousands of BJP activists in the state who are committed to the cause. He called for unity and dedication among party members and urged them to rededicate themselves on the occasion of BJP’s formation day.

Sanjay Kumar, who is currently in jail, released an open letter through his brother, expressing his belief that his arrest was part of a larger conspiracy by the ruling BRS government. He claimed that the false cases filed against him were a consequence of his advocacy on behalf of unemployed youth affected by alleged question paper leaks in recruitment tests conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission.

Despite the challenges they face, both Bandi Sanjay Kumar and the BJP leaders remain resolute. They have pledged to fight against the alleged corruption and dictatorial rule of the BRS government and to protect democracy in the state. The BJP leaders also took part in a pledge-taking event to demonstrate their commitment to the cause.

However, the arrest of Sanjay Kumar has stirred controversy, with BJP MLA M Raghunandan Rao making comments that were deemed derogatory by the IPS Association of Telangana. The association condemned his remarks and requested disciplinary action against him.

As the BJP moves forward, they are determined not to let setbacks deter them. They are focused on organizing a successful public meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and continuing their fight against corruption and what they perceive as a family rule. The arrest of their state unit president has only strengthened their resolve to bring about change in Telangana.
