Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on May 14 declared full support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian armed forces in the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, calling it a “fitting response” to the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking to the media, the Chief Minister said the operation showcased India’s zero-tolerance policy toward terrorism and reinforced the government’s commitment to protecting national sovereignty.
Dr. Saha said that every citizen of Tripura stands firmly with the security forces who carried out the cross-border precision strikes under the direction of the Prime Minister. He praised the bravery of Indian soldiers who executed the operation with high professionalism and strategic efficiency. He described the success of Operation Sindoor as a reminder to those who try to destabilize India that the country will always retaliate with strength and resolve.
The Chief Minister stated that India has the right to protect its people and borders from all forms of cross-border terrorism. He said the people of Tripura and the entire Northeast region support the government’s decisions aimed at maintaining internal and external security. He also warned that Tripura remains alert to any threats and emphasized that the state government would cooperate fully with central agencies in maintaining law and order.
