The new PMO, cabinet secretariat, and National Security Council Secretariat will have a similar structure, each consisting of three floors, in addition to the basement and ground floor. India House, on the other hand, will have one floor along with the basement and ground floor, and it is expected to function as a conference facility.
The CPWD’s bid document outlines that the project should be completed within 24 months from the start of construction. The Executive Enclave aims to enhance efficiency and functionality by carefully organizing different departments and providing supporting facilities. This will ensure enhanced security and seamless connectivity within the Enclave and with other offices in the Central Vista, while also maintaining the smooth movement of the public.
The Central Vista redevelopment project includes the construction of a new parliament building, a common central secretariat, and the revitalization of the 3-km Rajpath. Larsen & Toubro Limited was previously awarded the contract for the construction and maintenance of the first three buildings of the Common Central Secretariat. Shapoorji Pallonji and Company Limited is overseeing the redevelopment of the Central Vista Avenue.
In summary, Ahluwalia Contracts India Limited has secured the lowest bid for the construction of the Executive Enclave in the Central Vista project, which aims to modernize and streamline the government infrastructure in Delhi.
