Girish and The Chronicles are set for another major international rock milestone after the Sikkim-origin hard rock band announced that it will support Guns N’ Roses in Bengaluru on November 14, 2026. The announcement comes as the group prepares to release its fourth studio album, Disintegrate, adding another high-profile stage to an already growing international career.
Sikkim rock band gets another Guns N’ Roses slot
The Bengaluru performance will mark the latest collaboration between the Indian band and the American rock giants. Girish and The Chronicles previously opened for Guns N’ Roses during the latter’s 2025 India concert in Mumbai.
Guns N’ Roses will return to India this November for two shows. The band will perform at NICE Grounds in Bengaluru on November 14 before travelling to Guwahati for its first concert in Northeast India on November 17. Parikrama will open the Guwahati show, while the Sikkim-origin group has been confirmed for the Bengaluru date.
The latest pairing also connects two stages of Indian rock history. Guns N’ Roses have maintained a strong following in India for decades, while Girish and The Chronicles have steadily built an audience from their roots in Sikkim to venues and festivals outside the country.
What ‘November Rain’ means in the story
The connection with Guns N’ Roses also brings back memories of one of the band’s most recognisable songs, “November Rain”. The track featured prominently in Guns N’ Roses’ 2025 Mumbai set, alongside songs such as “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door”.
Interestingly, Girish and The Chronicles have also performed “November Rain”. Setlist records show that the band played the Guns N’ Roses classic once, at Hard Rock Cafe Whitefield in Bengaluru on July 19, 2018.
That earlier performance gives the song an additional link to the Sikkim rock outfit, although the band’s upcoming November 14 appearance is a support slot rather than a confirmed performance of “November Rain”.
A major moment during a new album campaign
The Guns N’ Roses announcement arrives at an important point in Girish and The Chronicles’ current release cycle. On September 17, the band released its latest single, “A New Spark”, along with an official music video.
The song will appear on Disintegrate, which is scheduled for release on November 20 through Frontiers Music Srl. The album will contain 10 tracks, including “Disintegrate”, “Fading Away”, “Mindhole”, “Ricochet of Hate”, “A New Spark”, “Take Me Home”, “Generation Coward”, “Against Yourself”, “You” and “KAAL”.
The band has described “A New Spark” as a song about finding inspiration and strength when life feels difficult. According to frontman Girish Pradhan, the song began as a small idea recorded in 2019 during the Rock The Highway period before eventually finding its place on the new album.
International stages continue to expand
The Bengaluru booking adds Guns N’ Roses to an impressive list of international acts that Girish and The Chronicles have shared stages with. The list includes Skid Row, Nazareth, Alter Bridge, Bullet For My Valentine, Hoobastank, TesseracT and Destruction.
The band has also expanded its reach through international tours and festival appearances. Its current album campaign further reflects that wider ambition, with Disintegrate being released through Frontiers Music Srl, an international label associated with hard rock and metal releases.
The band’s current lineup features Girish Pradhan on vocals and rhythm guitars, Yogesh Pradhan on bass, keyboards and production, Suraz Sun on lead guitars, and Nagen Nags on drums.
Two Indian rock names for two Guns N’ Roses shows
The 2026 India tour will give fans in two different cities a chance to see established Indian rock acts alongside Guns N’ Roses. Girish and The Chronicles will appear in Bengaluru, while Delhi-based Parikrama will support the Guwahati concert.
For Girish and The Chronicles, the Bengaluru show comes just six days before Disintegrate reaches listeners on November 20. The combination of a major international support slot and a new album release places the band in a busy phase of its career.
