The Indian men’s recurve team, consisting of Mrinal Chauhan, Tushar Shelke, and Jayanta Talukdar, emerged victorious in the semifinal against the hosts, Uzbekistan’s Chen Yao Yuy, Mirjalol Karorov, and Amirkhan Sadikov, with a score of 6-0. They will now take on their rivals from China in the gold medal clash on Friday. The men’s recurve team had started off their campaign with a 6-0 win against Kyrgyzstan.
The Indian women’s recurve team, comprising of Sangeeta, Prachi Singh, and Tanisha Verma, won a nail-biting tiebreaker finish against Uzbekistan to emerge as 5-4 winners. In the semifinal, they defeated Saudi Arabia 6-0 to book their spot in the final against China.

The compound women’s team of Parneet Kaur, Pragati, and Raginee Markoo had already secured their spot in the final after topping the qualification round and will also face Hong Kong in the gold medal clash.
