Guwahati buzzed with excitement on Saturday as Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways and senior BJP leader Sarbananda Sonowal handed over job appointment letters to newly recruited government employees.
The event was part of the Rozgar Mela in Guwahati, one of many held nationwide under the Rozgar Mela initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a live virtual address, the Prime Minister distributed over 51,000 appointment letters across India, underlining the government’s focus on employment and youth empowerment.
