Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein has directed all government departments to accelerate the implementation of proposals announced in the state’s Budget 2026-27, emphasising the need for timely execution of development projects and efficient utilisation of public funds.
During a high-level review meeting with senior government officials, the Deputy Chief Minister stressed that departments must move beyond planning and ensure that budgetary announcements are translated into tangible outcomes for the people. He underlined that prompt implementation is essential for achieving the government’s development objectives and maintaining public confidence in governance.
