The Manipur government will not remain a mute spectator to atrocities and injustice, Chief Minister Khemchand Singh asserted while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety of all citizens in the state.
Speaking at a public event, the Chief Minister said the government is closely monitoring developments and will take necessary action against those responsible for any form of violence, harassment, or unlawful activities. He emphasized that the rule of law must prevail and that every citizen deserves protection irrespective of community, background, or region.
Khemchand Singh stated that the government has adopted a zero-tolerance approach towards activities that threaten peace and social harmony. He noted that maintaining stability remains one of the administration’s highest priorities as Manipur continues its efforts to restore normalcy and strengthen public confidence.
The Chief Minister highlighted that law enforcement agencies have been directed to act firmly against individuals involved in criminal acts.
