Tripura Minister Sudhangshu Das on August 25 reviewed the implementation and progress of several government schemes under three key departments in South Tripura and announced a major Rs 24.21-crore development project for Batisata in Rajnagar.
The review meeting, held at the Belonia Circuit House, focused on the functioning of the Fisheries, Animal Resources Development and Scheduled Caste Welfare departments. The minister assessed the work carried out by the departments during the previous financial year and reviewed the progress of various ongoing programmes during the current financial year.
During the meeting, Das stressed the need for proper utilisation of funds provided under Central and state government schemes and directed officials to ensure that benefits reach the intended beneficiaries within the prescribed timeframe.
Minister Reviews Progress of Three Key Departments
The district-level review meeting brought together officials associated with the Fisheries, Animal Resources Development and Scheduled Caste Welfare departments to assess the implementation of government programmes in South Tripura.
The discussion covered the performance of the departments during the last financial year as well as the status of projects and schemes currently under implementation. Rs 24.21-Crore Batisata Project Announced
