Saurabh Khamar is a champion of social media tools and technologies, with a proven track record of creating and implementing successful social media campaigns. He has worked closely with teams to develop and execute proactive social content calendars, managing all phases of digital marketing initiatives from concept through delivery and optimization.
Currently working as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Governor of Mizoram since January 2022, Saurabh manages the appointment and other matters of the Governor’s secretariat. Saurabh has also worked as a freelance Google Android application developer from December 2013 to April 2015, working on 20+ apps on UI and testing. He collaborated with designers, engineers, and product managers to build great experiences, developed native Android applications and frameworks using Java, and coordinated with team members to create client apps in a coordinated and timely manner.
Saurabh has several certifications, including Digital Marketing Professional, Digital Media Analyst, and Social Media Professional, Bengaluru. He also holds a Digital Transformation Certification from the International Business Management Institute in Germany, a Facebook Marketing & Advertising Certification and Android Apps Development Certification.
In addition to his professional achievements, Saurabh has filed more than 300+ Right to Information (RTI) queries as IT & Social Media Convener, bringing to light the issues and shortcomings of the ruling government in Andhra Pradesh. He has also served as a committee member for Sree Vijayawada Gujarati Samaj, where he participated in many social activities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Saurabh helped many people by supplying oxygen cylinders, food, and medicine during tough conditions.
Saurabh was born on February 26, 1990, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and grew up in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. He is a Hindu (Gujarati) and belongs to a third-generation family that shifted to Vijayawada in the 1960s for business and stayed there. While there is not much information available about his personal life beyond this, it is clear that his upbringing in Vijayawada had a significant impact on his life and career.
