Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin is set to lead a high-profile business delegation to Singapore from May 23 to 24, with the aim of showcasing the vast business potential of the southern Indian state and attracting investments. The visit is part of the Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave, which is expected to see the participation of around 350 businesspeople, members of the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI), and government officials from both sides.

Accompanying Chief Minister Stalin will be Singapore’s Minister for Transport and Minister-in-Charge of Trade Relations S Iswaran, Tamil Nadu’s Industries Minister Dr TRB Rajaa, India’s High Commissioner to Singapore P Kumaran, and SICCI Chairman Neil Parekh. The conclave will provide a platform for meaningful discussions and networking opportunities between Tamil Nadu and Singaporean businesses.

The investment conclave holds significant importance as it precedes the Global Investors Summit planned by Tamil Nadu for early next year.
