BJP gaining strength in Northeast
Manik Saha said the BJP has steadily expanded its influence across the northeastern region during the past decade.
According to him, people in the Northeast have increasingly supported the party because of development projects, infrastructure growth, and improved connectivity.
He stated that the BJP government at the Centre has paid special attention to northeastern states after Narendra Modi assumed office in 2014.
Saha also highlighted road, railway, airport, and digital infrastructure projects launched in different parts of the region.
The chief minister said better coordination between northeastern states and the Centre has accelerated development and improved governance.
Political observers believe the BJP now considers the Northeast one of its strongest political regions outside northern and western India.
Assam and Bengal victories boost morale
The Tripura chief minister referred to the BJP’s recent electoral successes in Assam and West Bengal while addressing party workers.
He said the victories reflected growing public support for the BJP’s governance and political strategy.
According to Saha, the party’s success in neighbouring states has created fresh enthusiasm among BJP workers in Tripura.
The chief minister stated that party members should remain united and continue strengthening organisational work at the grassroots level.
He also praised BJP workers for their dedication and campaigning efforts during elections.
Political analysts noted that the BJP leadership often highlights victories in neighbouring states to energise party cadres and reinforce regional political momentum.
Focus on development and governance
Manik Saha said development and good governance remain the BJP’s biggest strengths.
According to him, the BJP government in Tripura has focused on infrastructure, healthcare, education, welfare schemes, and public services.
He stated that the government has introduced multiple initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for people across the state.
The chief minister also highlighted efforts related to digital governance, rural development, and employment generation.
Saha claimed that citizens have witnessed visible changes in governance and administration since the BJP came to power in Tripura.

BJP targets long-term political expansion
The BJP leadership has consistently worked to strengthen its organisational structure in Tripura and neighbouring states.
Political experts believe the party aims to maintain long-term dominance in the Northeast through a combination of governance, welfare programmes, and organisational outreach.
Saha said the BJP would continue expanding its support base by reaching people at the grassroots level.
The chief minister also urged party workers to remain connected with local communities and address public concerns effectively.
According to him, strong organisational discipline and public outreach remain important for future electoral success.
The BJP has significantly expanded its influence in Tripura since ending the Left Front’s long rule in the state.
Opposition under pressure
Political analysts believe the BJP’s recent victories in Assam and West Bengal have increased pressure on opposition parties across the Northeast.
Regional parties and opposition groups now face the challenge of countering the BJP’s development-oriented narrative.
Saha claimed that opposition parties lacked a clear vision for development and governance.
He also accused political rivals of spreading misinformation against the BJP government.
According to the chief minister, people are increasingly supporting parties that focus on development, infrastructure, and welfare.
Opposition leaders in Tripura, however, continue criticising the BJP government over unemployment, inflation, and administrative issues.
Modi factor remains important
Manik Saha repeatedly praised Narendra Modi’s leadership during his speech.
He said the prime minister’s popularity and governance model continue to inspire BJP workers across the country.
According to Saha, central welfare schemes and infrastructure initiatives have improved the lives of millions of people.
He also stated that Modi’s focus on the Northeast has transformed the region’s political and developmental landscape.
The chief minister credited the prime minister for improving connectivity, investment, and national attention toward northeastern states.
Political observers believe the BJP continues relying heavily on Modi’s popularity during election campaigns and organisational programmes.
Tripura BJP focuses on youth and welfare
The Tripura government has focused on youth-oriented initiatives and welfare schemes in recent years.
Officials said programmes related to skill development, employment support, healthcare, and digital services remain important priorities.
Saha stated that the BJP government wants to create opportunities for young people and improve economic growth in the state.
The chief minister also highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship and self-employment initiatives.
According to him, the government plans to continue introducing people-centric policies in the coming years.
Political experts noted that welfare delivery and youth outreach remain key components of the BJP’s electoral strategy in Tripura.
BJP workers urged to stay active
During the programme, Manik Saha urged party workers to remain active and disciplined at the grassroots level.
He said organisational strength plays a major role in electoral success.
The chief minister encouraged BJP cadres to engage directly with people and communicate the government’s achievements effectively.
According to him, continuous public outreach can strengthen trust between citizens and the party.
He also asked party workers to avoid internal divisions and focus on collective goals.
Political analysts believe the BJP leadership wants to maintain strong booth-level networks ahead of future elections in the region.
Political significance of statement
Saha’s remarks have drawn attention because they come at a time when the BJP is strengthening its position in eastern and northeastern India.
Political observers believe the chief minister’s confidence reflects the BJP’s broader regional strategy after recent electoral victories.
The party now aims to maintain momentum by combining governance-focused politics with strong organisational mobilisation.
At the same time, opposition parties are expected to intensify campaigns against the BJP in Tripura and neighbouring states.
BJP eyes continued dominance
The BJP leadership remains optimistic about retaining and expanding its influence across the Northeast.
Manik Saha said the party would continue working for development, welfare, and public service in Tripura.
He expressed confidence that people would support the BJP again because of its governance record and commitment toward development.
