An Assam Rifles patrol team came under attack along the India-Myanmar border in Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang district on Tuesday morning.

The attack took place near Nampong Nallah, under Nampong Circle in Changlang district. One Assam Rifles personnel died in the attack, officials said.

Jawan Identified as Havildar Jankhokai Kuki
The deceased personnel has been identified as Havildar Jankhokai Kuki, aged 42.
