Manipur Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Singh has emphasized that only a Manipur peaceful dialogue can pave the way for lasting stability in the violence-affected state. Speaking at a press briefing in Imphal, Singh underlined that reconciliation and communication between communities remain the most effective means to restore normalcy after months of unrest.
The DGP’s statement comes at a time when law enforcement agencies have intensified efforts to curb sporadic clashes and rebuild trust among communities. Singh said that peace cannot be achieved through force alone and that sustainable solutions must come from dialogue and mutual understanding.
