The Manipur Police organised a community outreach programme at Pritambara English School in Imphal on September 24 to strengthen police-public relations and improve awareness among students about legal and safety issues.
The Office of the Superintendent of Police (Prosecution), Manipur, conducted the programme with the participation of students, teachers and police personnel. The initiative focused on creating direct communication between young people and law enforcement officials.
Students receive legal and safety awareness
During the programme, police officials conducted awareness sessions on several issues that directly affect young people.
The sessions covered the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), drug abuse, cybercrime and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Officials explained key legal and safety concerns and encouraged students to remain informed about their rights and responsibilities.
